Let's get Punchy!

Here we are with another challenge Thursday, but this one is right up my alley if you know what I mean. I am all about the punches and now the framelits!!

When this challenge came up I knew I wanted to do something with the Fox Builder Punch. And what is great about this punch you can bundle with a Stamp Set and SAVE!!

With this punch there are so many animals that you can make. And I am sure as time goes on the creative minds out there, they will come up with other projects to make. Well I will not keep you waiting any longer...

Isn't she the cutest Bear you have seen!!

For the body of the Bear I used the Fox Builder punch. I then trimmed of the ears on the head part of the body. I replaced these with 1/2" circles, which were from the Owl Builder punch and I added the little hearts that are also in this punch. The little feet are made with the Owl Builder punch and a Black Sharpe marker. The nose is made out of 3/4" Circle punch. I punched it out and then just trimmed it up at the top of the circle to give it the oblong shape. Finished the nose off with a cute little heart from the Confetti Hearts Border punch. I used this punch for the heart because I wanted a fatter looking heart for the nose.

As for the stamping on this project I used the stamp set Foxy Friends. And for the bow on the bear that comes from the framelit set called "Balloon Framelits".

SUMMER FUN!!

Hi all! July was a very busy month for me. Sorry I have MIA, but I do have a really good reason!??!!

These 3 are my Grand-kids from TX. They come to visit me every July for almost the whole month. And I LOVE IT!! Of course my daughter and son in law come as well. LOL

Now they are back in TX getting ready for school. Everyone is back to there normal routines. So that means I will be back to stamping and creating. I am going to start tomorrow by posting the DOstamper's Challenge Thursday. Make sure you come back and check out my creation!!

Hooray - New In Colors!

ARE YOU LOVING THE NEW IN COLORS?!?

When I first seen these colors I wasn't too excited about them...but now they are really growing on me. I am loving them!! They really do go great together. I think the balance from the softer colors to the bolder ones just balance each other out. What are your thoughts?

In this card not sure if you noticed but I turned my embossed piece around so that the circles go in instead of popping out. I like to do this once in a while, it gives the card a whole different look, I think. The dots were made from the Big Shot and using the Large Polka Dot Impressions folder.

"HOORAY" is from a NEW set called "Confetti Celebration". You have to check this set out, it is a very festive set! There are so many different projects you could create with this set. What am I saying...you could do that with all the sets from Stampin' Up! For the festive looking paper on the card, it comes from the Designer Paper stack called " Playful Palette". Of course I must always have an embellishment on the card! Today's embellishment is the NEW Ruched Ribbon. The Ruched ribbon comes in all the new In Colors. It is so nice to work with!

Butterfly Flurry

This weeks challenge was a little bit more challenging. There was so many ways you can take this picture and create your project. I took one aspect of the picture and ran with it.

If you guess Butterflies, you are correct! What would you have chosen?

This card was inspired by a Stampin' Up! card that I had seen in our Stampin Success Magazine. I took the layout of the card and then created my version of it.

I start out by cutting out the beautiful lace piece on the card. This comes from a NEW thinlit Detailed Floral Lace Thinlit. This also comes in a bundle with a stamp set called Floral Phrases, so you can save on both products. If you haven't seen these yet, you have to go check them out!! Gorgeous!

For the tag on the front of the card, I took my Whisper White cardstock and put it in the Decorative Label Punch from the bottom opening to get the curvy edge on each side. I hope this makes sense???? If not let me know and I can take a picture for you. The pretty butterflies are punched out with the Elegant Butterfly punch and using the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper. I did punch 3 from the DSP and then stamped one image from the stamp set Papillon Potpourri stamp set, using Night of Navy ink. I finished off the card with a little of the Silver Metallic Thread and Rhinestones.
