Faux Alcohol Background

This technique was really fun to do.  It is not hard, but it can get your fingers a little messy.

In video below I will show you how to make this background.  You will love how it turns out for you and it will never be the same way twice!  The color is all how you color on your Vellum cardstock.  Below the video is a list of supplies that I used on the card above.

I started with a Pc of  Thick Whisper White cardstock for the base so that the color would show up better and brighter.  I then cut a 4 x 5 1/4 Pc of Vellum cardstock.  This is the basics that you will need for the card.  Of course you will need more just depending on how you want to finish your card.

I hope you enjoyed todays technique.

Shaker Card made Easy!

THE EASIEST SHAKER YOU CAN MAKE!!!!

This is a card that I did for my Technique club this past year.  I couldn't believe how easy this was to make.  You are going to love it!

Take your desired color for your base (which mine is Daffodil Delight) and cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.  Next you will take another color that you would like to use for the 2nd layer of the card.  Cut to 4 x 5 1/4. (mine is Whisper White)  You will then stamp your image or images that you desire to show on your shaker card.  Now take this cardstock and put it in the Clear Stampin' Up! envelope.  Put in your shaker materials.  Seal the envelope and fold over the long side and place Scotch tape to hold it down.  Put dimensionals on the back of this and put onto the card base.  You are done!

Just think of all the possibilities that can be done with this Technique.  This would make a fun Birthday card, Retirement card, New Home, there are endless possibilities.
