Faux Alcohol Background

This technique was really fun to do.  It is not hard, but it can get your fingers a little messy.

In video below I will show you how to make this background.  You will love how it turns out for you and it will never be the same way twice!  The color is all how you color on your Vellum cardstock.  Below the video is a list of supplies that I used on the card above.

I started with a Pc of  Thick Whisper White cardstock for the base so that the color would show up better and brighter.  I then cut a 4 x 5 1/4 Pc of Vellum cardstock.  This is the basics that you will need for the card.  Of course you will need more just depending on how you want to finish your card.

I hope you enjoyed todays technique.

Shaker Card made Easy!

THE EASIEST SHAKER YOU CAN MAKE!!!!

This is a card that I did for my Technique club this past year.  I couldn't believe how easy this was to make.  You are going to love it!

Take your desired color for your base (which mine is Daffodil Delight) and cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.  Next you will take another color that you would like to use for the 2nd layer of the card.  Cut to 4 x 5 1/4. (mine is Whisper White)  You will then stamp your image or images that you desire to show on your shaker card.  Now take this cardstock and put it in the Clear Stampin' Up! envelope.  Put in your shaker materials.  Seal the envelope and fold over the long side and place Scotch tape to hold it down.  Put dimensionals on the back of this and put onto the card base.  You are done!

Just think of all the possibilities that can be done with this Technique.  This would make a fun Birthday card, Retirement card, New Home, there are endless possibilities.

Thank you for stopping by.  Come back soon!

WELCOME!

Today's project was created my Technique Class that I hold in my house once a month or you can also get it To Go.  If you would like more information on my Technique Class you can check it out here.

EASY AND ELEGANT

To achieve this technique fold you will start with 5 strips at 1 x 3 1/2 inches.
          -  Take 3 of the strips and fold from the right corner down.
          - Take 2 strips and fold from the left corner down.
          -  To assemble you will start on the left side of your card.
          -  Start with a right folded Pc and then go with a Left folded Pc and so on.
On my card I did take the Petal Pair Embossing folder and run that through the Big Shot on the bottom portion of my card.

I hope you liked today's project!  Make sure that you check out the other DOstamper's in the Chevron Blog Hop.

Welcome!

Today's project I believe would make a very easy and cute treat holder for those kids in your life that brings treats to school for all their classmates.  I have made treat holders for my grandchildren through out the years for their classrooms.  I started with 1 added 2 more and now back to just 1.  It is sad how fast the grand-kids grow up!  But on the other hand it is so much fun to see them grow into adults or teenagers.
These are the 3 Grandchildren that I am talking about.
They always put a smile on my face!

The base for the tag is from the Jar of Love stamp set and cut out with the Everyday Jar Framelits.  I took and added the heart which is cut out of Real Red with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits.  The word LOVE is from the same thinlit set and cut out of Silver Glimmer paper.

Are you wondering where the Happy Valentine's Day came from?  It is from the February Paper Pumpkin.  If you haven't checked this out you have too!  You get fun and crafting brought right to your door.

Make sure that you go and check out the other DOstamper's creation in the Valentine's Treat Hop
