Punched Frame

Looks Hard?  But its NOT!!
I have to thank my Upline Dawn O. for the inspiration for this Technique.  I used this Technique at my last technique club.  Asking yourself...what is a Technique club?  Check out all the information right here.  You too can join in on the fun every month and the kicker is 1 month is your month to receive all the Hostess benefits for just coming to the club.  How great is that!!

In the card above I used the new Stamp set called "Fabulous Florets".  Love this set!!  If you haven't checked out the Summer Mini Catalog yet...what are you waiting for???  Stampin' Up! has out done themselves again!  You really can't tell in this picture but I also used the new Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango Embossing powder that came out in the mini.  I added a little bit of Iridescent Ice embossing powder in with the Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango embossing powder to give that extra shine.

The roses that are dry embossed on the Daffodil Delight cardstock were made with the Big Shot and the Manhattan Impression Folder

Want to join in the fun of learning how to use your Stampin' Up! products different ways???  Join me in the Technique Thursday Club.

Punched and Dry Emboss Technique

Have you seen the NEW Punches????

If you haven't checked out the new punches that came out in the Summer Mini Catalog you HAVE too.  They are GREAT!!!  There are endless possibilities that you will be able to do with these punches.  With that said...I used the the punch that is called "Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch".

I used this card at my Technique Thursday ClubThis club is designed to get you stamping and have fun doing it.  Along with learning different ways to use your Stampin' Up! supplies.  After you learn the techniques then you make your own cards using the techniques.  How great is that!

With this technique we are using the new Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch and the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Impressions Folder.  With these 2 together makes a beautiful and yet a easy card to make.

I hope that you will be joining me for my next months Technique Thursday.

My Fair Lady Music Challenge

WOW!!!
So many things come to mind with this one.

This was so much fun to make!

I have to Thank Dawn O, my upline for the inspiration for this challenge.  We made a hat at one of our Demonstrators meeting not to long ago.  When I seen the Music challenge cover I knew what I was going to do right away.

If you would like to join in on the challenges that we have every Thursday just let me know I will get you all the information to you.  jntcrlsn@yahoo.com

Here are a couple more views of the Keepsake Hat.
Love how the Flowers turned out.

This was my first time making this type of flowers.  How fun and easy!  You ask me how???  I took the Scallop Circle punch and punched out 2 circles.  (Pretty In Pink)  Then I took the 1 1/4" Circle Punch and punched out 1 circle.  Then take your scissors and spiral cut all the punched out images.  With the outside edge begin to roll up the spiral cut cardstock.  To finish it off add a Mini Glue Dot to the bottom to hold it all together.  That's it, how easy is that.

For the Base of the hat I used the Scallop Circle Die and the Big Shot to cut it out.  Then I took the Vintage Wallpaper Impression Folder and ran the Scallop Circle through the Big Shot.  That is how you get the dry embossed design on the base.  For the Top I took the Scallop Circle punch and punch out 1 and then took and cut the scallops to the middle to get it just a little depth to the scallop.  Top it off with a Basic Pearl.  The ribbon is the Striped ribbon in the Basic Black which is folded in half.

Hope you join us next week!

Satin Flower

Gorgeous - But Easy!

I love this Technique.  Thank you to my Upline Dawn O for the idea.  We did this technique in last month's Technique Thursday club that I have.  In this club we meet once a month, I teach 2 different techniques and then they make cards with the techniques.  Want to join and have this kind of fun?  Check out more information HERE.

All you need to make the this gorgeous flower is Stampin' Up! Satin ribbon, Sticky Page and a Circle of Cardstock of the color that is your flower color.  You are also going to need your Heat Gun. Want to learn more about this Technique join my club now!

On the Rich Razzleberry cardstock, I ran it through the Big Shot with the Elegant Line Impressions Folder.  This impressions folder puts the elegant look to your cards and it is so easy.

Wish Big

Circles!!
I did this card awhile ago for a Shoebox swap that we had at the Stampin' Up! MN Regional this year.  What a great time that was.  I think there was something like 32 ladies that were in it.  We had fun meeting new stampers and had fun catching up with old and new friends.

My idea for this card was to get it done with almost all punches.  For the circle punches I used:  3/4, 1, 1 1/4, 1 3/4, 1 3/8.  I also used the 2 3/8 Scalloped Circle punch.  The Wish Big is from the stamp set called "Word Play".  If you haven't checked out this set you really have too.  It has everything for almost every event.  LOVE IT!  I really love the color combo.  This is a great male card as well.  Even with the little bit of bling on it! Music Challenge

There are so many things you can do with this challenge!

I had a hard time trying to figure out what I wanted to do with so many ways to take this challenge.  So to add a little bit more of a challenge to myself, I wanted to use some Stampin' Up! products that I haven't used in a while, so that kind of slowed down the creative side.  But then it just hit me like a ton of bricks.

If you would like to join us in our weekly challenges you are more then Welcome!  Just let me know and I can send you all the information.  jntcrlsn@yahoo.com

Beautiful Butterflies!!
The colors that I used on this card are:  Marina Mist, Very Vanilla and Basic Black.  I added a little Old Olive on the Designer Series paper and the tag.  For the tag I used the stamp set called "Cute By The Inch" and colored it with Stampin' Up! markers to get the different colors.  The background that I stamped on is Newspaper Print DSP and the stamp set is called "Fabulous Florets".  This set just came out in the Summer Mini Catalog.  The wonderful Butterflies are from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die which you run through the Big Shot.  Of course I had to top off the card with a little extra.  On the butterflies I used the Basic Pearls and then added the Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon.

Come on and join us for our next weeks challenge!!
