Stampin' Scrub

STAMPIN' SCRUB IS HERE!!!

Cleaning your stamps is easy with our Stampin’ Scrub. The pads are large enough for even our largest background stamps. Lightly spray one pad with our Stampin’ Mist and leave the other one dry. For best results, do not oversaturate the pad. Scrub your stamp on the damp pad, then rub it on the dry pad to remove any leftover ink and moisture. Now you’re ready to change colors and continue stamping or to put your stamps away. Cleaning the removable pads is a snap—just rinse out the pads and allow to air dry.

■ Holds 2 removable black scrubbing pads (included).

■ Stampin’ Scrub measures approximately 7" x 5-3/4"

■ Exclusive Stampin’ Up! design

■ Replaceable pads

Color Challenge

This is really a different color combo!

When I seen this color combo I thought to myself...oooooh.  But then when I pulled out all the cardstock it wasn't so bad.  I would have never put these colors together myself.  I love the challenges that we have ever Thursday.  They really help with my creative side!  If you would like to join us in our Thursday challenges just let me know I will forward all the information to you.  jntcrlsn@yahoo.com  And when you are done with your creation I will post a link to your blog, if no blog don't worry, send me a picture and I will post it right here for all to see.  How fun is that!!  Come on and join in for next week!

See anything new???
I have to Thank Heidi Boos for the inspiration for this card.  I had seen hers and just had to do it.  I used the Stamp Set called "Party Hearty" for the flags and the saying.  For the Designer Series paper I used "Elegant Soiree" and the dots on the white were made with the Big Shot and the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions folder.  So...did you figure out what is NEW on the card???  You can't see much of it but it is the String holding the flags!  This is a sneak peek item that is coming out in the Summer Mini Catalog in 2 more days!  It is called "Baker's Twine".  It is coming out in 3 different colors.  You are going to LOVE all the new items that are coming out!!

I hope that you join me for our next weeks challenge!  jntcrlsn@yahoo.com

Mother's Day Card

Can't go wrong with the Build a Blossom.

If I say so myself....I love how this card turned out!  I just love the Build A Blossom Stamp set and the punch.  You can do so many varies of flowers with this set.

Just look at all the Petals and Leaves.
And a Punch to help you out.  No cutting involved!!

With the Stamp set and the punch this card takes no time at all to put together.  For the embossed background I used the Big Shot and the Elegant Line Impressions folder.  The ribbon is the Seam binding ribbon, Love it!!

Last chance to order from the Occasions Mini Catalog!

Roses Are Pink

Elegant Wedding Card.

I have had a number of requests on how to make the Rose on the above card.  Here is a link to the directions that I used to make it.  I am so sorry that I do not remember who I got the directions from.  But if you are the owner please let me know and I will give you full credit.  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zlfS4fnp6XItPmOC2lQW8rAhxCZ5fHtFjf2QUdgpFkA/edit?hl=en&authkey=COnH35wC

I love how this card turned out.  I did this card at my Technique Thursday club.  My club members wanted to learn how to make the roses.  By the time they were done they were hooked on making more roses.  If you would like to join us in the Technique Thursday/Tuesday club you can check out all the information right here.

The dry embossed background came from the Elegant Lines Impressions folder and the Big Shot.  I also used the Big Shot with the Little Leaves Die for the Leaves.  I love this die for leaves!  I did some Spritzing on the Rose petal before it was put together.  After it was assembled I sprayed on Vanilla Shimmer Paint.  This just gave the roses a little sparkle.  The message on the card came from the stamp set called "Occasional Quotes". What a great set this one is!

Music Challenge

What should I do for this one??

This one took a little thought for me.  I wanted to do something fun!  SO....this is what I came up with.

Isn't he CUTE!!

I saw him when I was of course blog surfing and just had to do him.  He was singing his little heart out and I just put him in the rain.  Of course I gave him an umbrella!  I have to Thank Trina Pham for the cute little mouse.

My favorite thing to do is Punch Art.  So every chance that I can do punching I will.  In this card I used the following punches:  3/4 & 2 1/2 circle, Ornament, Butterfly, Word Window & Small oval punch.  For the rain drops in the background on the Marina Mist I used the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder with the Big Shot

If you would like to join us in our next challenge just let me know and I can send you all the information you need.  jntcrlsn@yahoo.com   When you have your artwork complete send me a copy and I will post it here or send you blog address and I will link it to your blog.  It is allot of fun coming up with so many different ideas from just one little Album cover.  COME ON AND JOIN US FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE!
