Color Challenge

LOVE - LOVE THESE COLORS!!
Another week, another challenge.  We do a challenge every week.  It goes from a color to sketch to music.  If you would like to join us in these challenges just let me know and I can get all the information to you.  And if you join us I can post a link right here to your blog with the your project for the challenge.  I would love if you would join us.  jntcrlsn@yahoo.com

It is out of the Petal Cone Die!

For my color challenge project I decide to do an Easter Basket.  The new Petal Cone Die can be found in the Occasion's Mini Catalog.   You use this with the Big Shot.  I have to thank Marie for the help of the design of the basket.  You cannot believe the projects people have come up with using this die.  You will be seeing more projects with this die showing up here!

The little chick is from the stamp set called "A Good Egg".  One of my favorite sets for Easter!  I stamped him in Black Stazon ink and then used my Aqua Painter and Daffodil Delight ink to color him in.  And then used the Pumpkin Pie marker to color in his beak.

Check out the handle, how great is this!
Again, how great is this handle!!  I was surfing SC today and found this posting by Annette John.  You use the Scallop Trim Border punch.  She showed a few different ways you can punch designs.  You will be seeing more of these designs on more of my projects.  Thank you Annette for sharing!  If I can find the posting again I will post it and link it for all of you to see.

Please come and join in next weeks challenge.  It is allot of fun!  It gives you that reason to have to go stamp.  What am I talking about, you NEVER need a reason to go stamp.  LOL

Thomas The Train

This was for my Grandson who turned "2"!
How CUTE is this!!

I have to Thank Pixie E and another creator on SC that helped me with my inspiration for this card.  I saw this and just had to do it.  Hunter's theme for his Birthday was Thomas the Train.  He LOVED the card!

I made the card a Easel card.  I took the tracks and just made a very little bump in them close to the fold of the card.  That way it looks like Thomas is coming down the tracks.

I hope you enjoyed the card as much as Hunter did.

Rock -n- Roll Technique

Love the Black and Very Vanilla.

I am really getting into the low tone cards these days. If this is what you call it. I normally have like the bright and bold colors.  I have to Thank Dawn O. my up line for the inspiration for this card.  Thanks Dawn.

I had this card at my last Technique Thursday Club.  This is called the Rock -n- Roll technique.  My club members loved this technique.  It is so easy but yet what a effect and dimension it has your card.  The stamp set I used is called "BLISS".  You can still get this set for only 4 more days.  This is a Sale-A-Bration set, all you have to do is place  a $50.00 order and you get this set for FREE!  How great is that!  The gorgeous ribbon that I used is the "Victoria Crochet Lace Ribbon".  The ribbon just adds that extra special touch.

Punched Bunny

How CUTE is he?!?!

Here is a card that I did for a Punch Swap that I do every month.  It is never to early to start your Easter cards.  I know that I like the fact that Easter is later this year.  Gives me more time for the making of my Easter Cards.

I love the Frame that is surrounding the Bunny.  I was taught this technique at the Stampin' Up! Minneapolis Regional this year.  LOVE IT!!  It is done with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.  It is just 4 Punches and you have your frame.  For the background I used the Big Shot and the Elegant Lines Impressions folder.  The little tag was stamped from the set "Teeny Tiny Wishes".  If you haven't seen this set you really have to check it out.  You are going to Love it!  I use this set allot.  It has every Holiday or event that you can think of in it.  Another LOVE IT!  I then punched it out with the Jewelry Tag punch and tied it off with Linen Thread.

If you like this Easter card, you will have to check back and see the other creations that are coming.

Only 2 weeks left of Sale-A-Bration!  Don't want to miss the FREE stamp sets!

Valentine Card

This card was for my Grandson Carson.

Ok, this is my last Valentine's Card that I am going to share with you this year.  But I just wanted to share all of them with you.

The Background on this card is made with the Big Shot and the Impressions Folder "Elegant Lines".  I love all the Impression folders.  They just give your cards the wow factor in the background.  I have seen this little guy on so many different cards that I had to do him.  Isn't he cute!  For the Valentine's greeting I used the Stamp set called "Teeny Tiny Wishes".  This is a GREAT set!!  If you haven't checked it out you really have to.  Of course I added the Real Red Glimmer paper, which you can find now in the Occasion's Mini Catalog

Valentine Card

This card was for my oldest Granddaughter, Briana.

I know I am a little late in posting my Valentine's cards.  But I wanted to share them with all of you.

On this card I used the Big Shot  and the Serif Essentials Alphabet Die Set.  Again another easy but wonderful card!  I also used the new Designer Series Paper which is called "Love Impressions" and of course the new Glimmer Real Red paper.  How great is this!  I love the BLING!!  The little "LOVE" tag was made from the stamp set "Tiny Tags" and punched out with the Tag punch.  And of course I added the Jewel Rhinestones to the tag to give it that little extra WOW.

Briana loved the card.  Especially with the Katie Perry tickets that she got inside it.

Valentine Card

This was for my 2nd youngest Grandson Hunter

I know I am a little late on posting some of Valentine's Day cards, but I wanted to show you them.  Please just "Bear" with me.  The Grand kids loved their cards.

This one was a very simple but very cute card.  I am sorry I don't have the name of the person to give credit too for the idea.  If you see it and it is yours please let me know so I can give credit to you.  I used the Scallop Circle punch for the Bear.  The ears are punched out of the 1" & 1/2" circle punches.  To get the great dry embossed frame around the Bear, I used the new "Framed Tulips Impressions Embossing Folder".  The stamped phrased is from the set called "Beary Nice Wishes".

In the next couple of days I will be posting a few more of my Valentine's cards to my Grand kids.  So make sure you come back and check them out.

Sale-A-Bration is only on until March 31st.  You don't want to miss it!!
