Occasions Mini Catalog Sneak Peek

"Create A Cupcake"

First of all I would like to thank Ilina C. for the GREAT layout.  How great is this stamp set???  I am loving this set allot!  I can't wait until all of you can see all the NEW products coming out in the NEW Occasions Mini Catalog.  As soon as I can I will make a link for you to see all of the new products.  You are going to LOVE it all.  If you can't wait send me your address and I can send you the book.  How cool if that!!

The stamp set as you can see is called "Create A Cupcake".  What is even better......Stampin' Up! has out done themselves with a punch that goes with this stamp set.  It is called "Build a Cupcake Punch".  How great is that!!  For the Happy Birthday, I used a set called "Bring On the Cake".  This is going to be another favorite of mine.

Make sure that you check back soon.  I will be posting more Sneak Peek projects from the NEW Occasions Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.

Music Inspiration Challenge

Today's DoStampers Challenge is from Bing Crosby's Merry Christmas Album Cover.

We are suppose to take our inspiration from the Album cover and come up with a card of our own creation.

This is what I came up with!

Love, Love the Holly!!  I am not sure why...but it has always been a favorite of mine during the Holiday season.  In this card I used Garden Green, Real Red and Whisper White cardstock and Ink.  The brads that I used were the NEW Glimmer Brads.  How GREAT are these!!!  You will find these in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

I wish all of you a HAPPY HOLIDAY'S!!!!!

Happy Stamping!

Snowman Picture

I just LOVED him..had to put him on something else!

We did this project at a Technique Thursday Club that I hold.  The members LOVED IT!  It is soooo easy and quick to do.  If you would like to join us for the 2011 Technique Thursday Club just let me know and you are in.  jntcrlsn@yahoo.com

The punches that I used in this project are as follows: 2 1/2, 1 3/8, 1 3/4, 1/2 inch Circle punches, Snowflake, Round Tab, Word Window punch.  Too get the CHEER I used the Big Shot with the "Join In Cheer" decorative strip die.  I also used the "Northern Flurry" Impression die on the background.

Want to know more about the Technique Thursday club that I have check out here.

Happy Holidays!

Gift Card Holder

LOVE IT!!

I have to thank Heidi B. for the inspiration for this Gift Card Holder.  I seen this on one of the sites that I visit and just had to do it.  It was soooo easy & quick to do.

I used this technique last night at my Technique Thursday club.  What is the Technique club you ask???  I teach 2 different techniques on the 1st Thursday of the month and then you make a card using the new technique.  If you would like more information check it out here.
If you have any questions or you would like to join in on the fun just send me an email at:  jntcrlsn@yahoo.com

How brilliant is this to hold the gift card!

I used the Two Tag Die and the Sizzix Die Cutting Machine to cut out the card holder. The cardstock is Early Espresso and Marina Mist.  Love them both!  I also used the Tiny Tag Punch and the Snow Flake Punch.  For the outside of the folder I cut a 4 1/4 x 6 1/2 Pc of cardstock and then scored it at 1/2" and 3".  I put this together with Sticky Tape to make sure that stays together putting the card holder in and out.  How simple is this!!

Color Combo Challenge

Who would of thought these colors look so GREAT together!!

Love how this turned out.

Each week we are doing some kind of challenge in the demonstrator group that I am in.  This week it is a color challenge.  When I first read the colors that we were to use I thought OH MY.  But when I pulled them out and put them together I really like the combination of these colors together.  Who would of thought!  You can join us in having fun if you would like.  Also if you would like to get your artwork published here...email me your work and I will post it.  jntcrlsn@yahoo.com

The colors of cardstock that I used are:  Old Olive (1 of my fav's), Concord Crush, Poppy Parade and Very Vanilla.  The ribbon is the new Old Olive Taffeta ribbon.  How great is this!  The "Life is a matter of Moments" saying came from the stamp set called "Elements of Style".  If you haven't seen this set before you really have to check it out.  You are going to want it!

Watercolor Crayons

THEY ARE HERE!

GREAT NEWS!!!

Stampin' Up! Watercolor Wonder Crayons are now available for purchase.  The Watercolor Wonder Crayons were delayed due to a relocation of the supplier.  You can start ordering today!

When you receive you Watercolor Wonder Crayons, you may notice that some of the crayon sleeves feature old artwork on them.  This does not affect the quality of the crayons:  we simply need to deplete inventory of  crayons with the old artwork before we use crayons featuring the new artwork.

Use the following item numbers to purchase your Watercolor Crayons:

*  120949  New Color Kit
*  119802  Subtles
*  119803  Regals
*  119804  Brights
*  119805  Neutrals
