Demonstrator Swap

Let's use it up!
For our demonstrator swap this month we are using up our Designer Series Paper & Accessories that we know will be gone soon. I am sad to see anything go.  Don't you just wish that all would be available all the time???  I know that is not possible, but somethings I wish could be available all the time.

So this is what I came up with for my demonstrator swap.  I used Thoroughly Modern Designer Series paper, Bermuda Bay cardstock.  My accessories are the Bulk buy button and the Bulk buy brad. You can always use new ideas how to use your DSP.  Enjoy!

Punch Art Worm

ISN'T HE THE CUTEST!

I helped at a Cancer Retreat last week for a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Pixie Elletson.  I meet the most amazing people there.  The courage they all have, how they are all so full of life and happy.  I really admire everyone that I meet that day.  The retreat is for people that have gone through Cancer, going through it now or have fought it and won.

This is a side-view of the little guy and the Scallop Envelope Basket.

This is one of the projects that we did that day.  I LOVE PUNCH ART!  We used all Stampin' Up! punches for the worm.  For the box we used the Big Shot and the Scallop Envelope die. The ribbon is the In Color ribbon.  Don't you just LOVE the polka dots?  I am all about the POLKA DOTS!  And of course you have to top it off with CHOCOLATE!

Masculine Birthday Card

This is a Sketch Challenge that our demonstrator group did this month.
I was very excited to do this sketch challenge.  I really liked the sketch that we had to work from.  I decided that I wanted to make a more Masculine Birthday card for this sketch challenge.  Below is what I had came up with for the challenge.

Happy Birthday!

I used Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper,  I really like this DSP paper.  I am going to be really sad when it goes away.  I also used the stamp set called "Enjoy Every Moment" and "Teeny Tiny Wishes"LOVE THEM BOTH!  The cardstock that I used is Chocolate Chip and In Colors Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry.  I really like these 3 colors together.  Don't you?  I also used for my accessories the Corduroy Button in Summer Sun and In Color Crushed Curry Polka Dot ribbon.  I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I do.

Let's get you shopping for your favorite things!

Going Green!

I am Going Green!

On this card I wanted to do something a little different then I would normally do. I am usually a BRIGHT colored cardstock person.  But after I started getting into the card, I really liked the tone and tone.  It made a really nice masculine card.  Have you ever noticed that most men do not receive Thank you Cards?  So I thought way not!  As manly as they want us to think they are I believe deep down they would appreciate a Thank you card once in a while.  I used Always Artichoke cardstock and Mellow Moss cardstock.  The ribbon is the 1 1/4" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon.  I used the 1 3/8", 1 1/4", 1" and 3/4" Circle punches for the background.  The stamp set is the NEW Tiny Tags set and punched out with the NEW Ting Tags punch.  You can find these items and more in the Occasions Mini Catalog

Crimped Flower

LOVE this Technique!

This is a technique that I taught in my Technique Thursday club. It is sooooo easy to do.  You start out with a 1" X 12" Pc of Designer Series Paper of your choice.  I have used the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP for my flower.  This is one of my favorite DSP's.  You will then take the Eyelet border punch and punch one 12" side.  After you have done that you will run this through the crimpier 4 times.   This helps loosen up the DSP to be able to work with it better.  Then you will take a punched out 1 1/4" Circle and cover it with Sticky Tape.  Working from the outside edge of you punched out circle you will start applying the DSP.  You will move inward for the 2nd row.  Finish off the flower with your desired Accessory.

For the card I used Crushed Curry Cardstock and ran 1/2 of it through the NEW Perfect Polka Dot Impressions Folder.  LOVE IT!  For the Very Vanilla piece I used the NEW Scallop Trim border punch.  You can get this punch FREE!  It is Sale-A-Bration time for Stampin' Up!  Find out HERE.

I wanted to get a close up so you could see the crimping and the Eyelet border punch that was done on the flower.

Build A Bear Easter

THIS IS A BEARY SPECIAL EASTER CARD.

I introduced the Build A Bear to my Technique Thursday club this week.   All the club members LOVED her.  The bear is made with the Stampin' Up! Bigz Bear Die and the Stampin' Up! Beary Hoppy Sizzlits Die.  You can find these in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  The card itself is set up as an Easel Card.  I made the grass by using the Scallop border punch and then cut the blades of grass.  I thought the scallops gave it some dimension.  This card will make some very SPECIAL little girl very happy at Easter!

Glassine Bunny Treat Bag Topper

ISN'T HE THE CUTEST!

This cute little Treat Bag is done using the NEW Glassine Bags from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I used the biggest Glassine bag and ran it through the Big Shot with the NEW Perfect Polka Dots textured impressions folder.  This can also be found in the Occasions Mini.  After I took a 2 Way Glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to put a little Bling on the embossed Polka Dots.   For the topper of the Glassine Bag I used the Square Scallop Die to cut out the Garden Green piece.  The Bunny is made from the Heart Punch, Small Heart Punch and the Oval Punches.

Scallop Corner/Straight & Tech.

Happy Mother's Day!

For the tags on the card I was playing around with the new Scallop Trim Border punch.  You put your cardstock into the punch straight instead of with corner in first.  On the Whisper White piece I trimmed off a little piece that was punched out.  I thought that the design this made it just made the card.  I will be doing this technique more on my cards.  It was also EASY!  You can find this punch and much more in the new Occasions Mini Catalog.  The Scallop Trim Corner punch also has a border punch to match!  You can get the border punch FREE with a $50.00 order.  What are you WAITING FOR!  Check it out in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  Enjoy!
