Leaves of Thanks

Is it to early for Thanksgiving?

Here is another SNEAK PEAK at a NEW stamp set that is coming out in the NEW Holiday Mini.  I received this set when I went to the Stampin' Up! convention this year.  I really wasn't sure about it when I got it, but now it is really growing on me.  LOL  The set is called "Paisley Prints".  I have seen so many nice cards that have been made with this set.  It is a very versatile set.

I also used the Paisley Prints Wheel to stamp on the leaves.  The leaves have been cut out on the Big Shot using the Leaves #2 die.  I used the leaf stamp from the Paisley Prints stamp set for the Background of the card.   The great saying that has been stamped on the card comes from another set that is coming out in the NEW Holiday Mini.  It is called "Seasonal Sentiments".  This is a GREAT set!  It has a sentiment for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas & Valentines Day.  What more could you ask for!  The cardstock and Ink colors I used were:  Pumpkin Pie, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla and a New color Cajun Craze.  It is a very Fall looking set of colors.

The NEW HOLIDAY MINI comes out on Sept. 1st.  Make sure you come back and check it out!

Thanks for stopping!

I made this cute TREAT TUBE for a challenge that Kim Score is putting on.  What a great idea!  You could use these tubes for Halloween treats for school, teacher gifts or just for your kids.  You can decorate these so many ways.  I will be making more of these and posting them here.  So make sure that you come back to see what else you can do with these.

Also with this Treat Tube you are getting a SNEAK PEAK at some of the Stampin' Up! items coming out in the NEW HOLIDAY MINI.  (starting Sept. 1st)

Cardstock:  Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White and Basic Black.
Punches:  Bat (New), 1 1/4 circle and Fancy Flower.
Stamp Set:  Wicked Cool

I also used a NEW textured Impressions Embossing Folder called Spider Web on the tube.  This will be out on Sept. 1st.  Around the Spider Web I used the NEW Waffle Paper in Black.  I cut notches all along the edge of it and then attached it to the Spider Web circle.

You are really going to like all the NEW Stampin' Up! items that are coming out on Sept. 1st.  So make sure you come back and check out more Sneak Peaks.

Paper Bargello Technique

I have to Thank Dawn O. for the inspiration for this technique.  I did this technique at my last Technique Thursday Club.  The members all LOVED IT!!

I found that you really have to use a striped pattern Designer Series paper when doing this.  It just looks sooooo much better.  Bargello is a type of needlepoint embroidery consisting of upright flat stitches laid out to create interesting patterns.

We can't forget about the BLING!!

To get this look all you do is cut your DSP into strips of varying widths.  Then you just align you strips into desired pattern & adhere them to a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I snailed all 4 sides of the Whisper White cardstock to adhere the DSP.  Trim off the excess DSP.  Once you have your design complete your card as desired.

I used the following items:

  - Old Olive Cardstock & Ribbon
  - Chocolate Chip Cardstock
  - Whisper White Cardstock
  - Play Date Designer Series Paper
  - Round Tab Punch
  - Itty Bitty Shapes Punch
  - 5 Petal Punch
  - NEW Jewel Basic Rhinestone

To find out more on my Technique Thursday Club you will find it here.

Thank you for Stopping By.

Send this card to a Friend to let them know that you care.

How nice would it be to give this GREAT card to a friend!  I did this card for a demonstrator swap that we had.  I really like this stamp set.  It is called:  Friends never Fade.

Clear Mount Item# 120618
Wood Mount Item# 118750

The Designer Paper that I used is called:  Greenhouse Gala
I LOVE the colors that are in this DSP.  Don't you?  They are Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie & Baja Breeze.  I also used the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder.  Using the embossing folders gives it some depth without over doing it.  LOVE IT!

Treat Cups

Who wants TREATS?????

This cute little cup I made for my Convention Buddies.  I figured that we needed to have some snacks while sitting in classes.  I filled it with some Trail Mix.  You can always go for some CHOCOLATE and something SALTY.

This is the top of the cup.  It was fast and easy.  I wanted to use up some of the retired products that I have. But I had to make sure I added some BLING on it.  I attached the ribbon to the lid with Sticky Tape.  This held the ribbon in place great.

The Stamp set that I used was a Hostess set from the Summer Mini.  Called "Punched Posies".  This is a GREAT set!  Want one???  Reserve your date for your PARTY today and earn yours FREE.  Now is the time to reserve your date with the Stampin' Up! PROMOTION going on.  More information HERE.

Happy Stampin!

DAWN O. AT # 61!!!

Dawn O. was number 61 in the Founders Circle.  What an honor to be there.  I really have to say Thank you to Dawn for all she does for her Downline. Just so you know, when you go to Convention you don't have a clue if you are really in Founders or not until you go get your FREE stamp sets that you have earned throughout the year.  That is when they tell you if you have made it or not.  Before we went up to get Dawns sets she was sooooo nervous she basically told Laurie and I to be QUIET!!!  (She didn't think she made it this year and we kept telling her she did)  Of course we were RIGHT!  As you can see for making Founders you get this GREAT looking bag that Dawn is holding.  And that is only 1 of the great things that Stampin' Up! does for you in making Founders Circle.

At Convention in General Session everyone waits for the PRIZE CONTROL to take place.  Because that is where you get FREE products from Stampin' Up! How GREAT is that!!  FREE PRODUCT!  These are only some of the BENEFITS for being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  If you would like to learn more just let me know and I will answer all you question.

Stay tuned here for more exciting events from Convention.
