I was so excited to get to this weeks challenge. These color are right up my alley!! And on top of it...I got to use NEW products in the challenge as well. Cannot get any better then that!!
First off I had to show you the Black Metallic Thread that just came out. Stampin' Up! still has the Silver and Gold available yet. This thread is thin, but it gives your projects just enough WOW factor.
Did you happen to notice the background in the above picture?
The background was made by the NEW Detailed Floral Thinlits. This set of thinlits has 3 Pieces to it. I cut by Basic Black cardstock at 4 x 5 1/4". By doing this, it was just a little bit bigger then the thinlits. This way when I ran it through the Big Shot it came out in 1 Piece. You can also get 10% Off by ordering the bundle that these thinlits come in.
The flower was cut from the Botanical Builder Framelits. I cut out 2 of the smaller flowers and stacked those using a glue dot. Then I cut 2 of the centers and stacked those using glue. Once together I added the Black Metallic Thread and a Stampin Dimensional and adhered to the card.
