Lovely Color Challenge

Welcome to the DOstampers challenge Thursday.

This week for our challenge we have the color challenge.  When I seen the colors for this week, I wasn't in love with the combo at all!  But once I started the creative juices flowing it wasn't too bad.  LOL

You too can join in on the fun of the DOstampers Challenges with us.

Love how the card turned out.

When I started out with this card it was totally different.  Did you ever have an idea in mind and then you start to put it all together and it just isn't right?  Well that is what happened to this one.  So I changed a few things around...OK almost all of it around and came out with this!  I liked how it turned out so well, that I am including it in the Card Buffet that I am holding at my home this weekend.  I still have some room if you would like to join us!

The embossed background of this card is done with the FREE embossing folder called Decorative Dots,  you can only get during Sale-A-Bration that is going on now.  But you better hurry...because Sale-A-Bration ends on Monday, 3/31/14.   I also used a FREE stamp set called "You're Lovely" from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

The Stampin' Up! products that I used for this card is as follows:

  2. I love that you only used part of the stamp - gives it a completely new look! Nice details on here with the doily, stamping, patterned paper and embossing.
