Thank You!

Easy...But Cute!

I did this card for a swap that I was in.  When I was coming up with ideas for the swap, I wanted something that was easy (of course), but yet elegant.  I believe with this card I accomplished what I was set out to do.

The stamp set the I used is "Daydream Medallions".   What I like allot about this set it has the Floral Frames Framelits to go with it.  The framelits make it so easy to cut out your images.  I also used the set "Curly Cute" for the Thank you.  This is a great set for the different greetings that it has in it.  For the Scalloped pieces I used the 2 3/8 and 1 3/4 Scallop punches.

You can always shop 24/7!!  To make sure you have all the necessities to make your projects.

Stain Glass Butterfly

I Love how this turned out.

I did this Technique at my card club that I hold once a month.  If you would like more information on my Technique Club you can check it out HERE.   With my club I teach 2 (NEW) different techniques using different Stampin' Up! tools.  Then the club members get to make a card using the 2 different techniques.  They LOVE IT!!  And of course I love it as well, I get to share what I love to do.  The other nice thing is that you learn how to use all or must of the tools at some point.  Club members also get to touch, feel  and use new products as well.  What could be better!

On this card I used Crystal Effects, Window sheet and the Big Shot with the Beautiful Butterflies Die.  I know you would love me to tell you exactly how to make it this but a girl has to keep some secrets!  You can find out more on how to make it by joining my Technique Club.

Faux Tile

I taught this technique in my Technique Club.  In my club we meet once a month and I teach 2 different techniques.  With these techniques you make your own card to take with you so you can make more of then at a later date.  To find out more on my Technique Club just go HERE!  I Love teaching and showing so many different ways you can use your Stampin' Up! products.

For the background I ran this through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Impressions Folder.  I love the Impressions folders, they give your projects such dimension.  The color coordination that I used is Pool Party, which is an In Color at this time and Whisper White.  For the tiled background I use the Simply Scored and the Diagonal plate.  This is a great technique using the Simply Scored.  I hope you decide to join us next time.

Comfort Wreath

WHO WOULD OF EVER THOUGHT USING
CLOTHES PINS TO MAKE A WREATH WOULD BE SO CUTE!!

You guessed it!!!  I had another Stampin Play date.  We have seen these around and just had to do them.  Our other halves were gone hunting for the weekend so we got together to craft.  Always a great time and good laughs!

For this wreath it took approximately 80 Clothes Pins to make it.  We took Comfort Cafe Designer Series paper and cut our pieces with all the designs in that series.  We then took Modge Podge and put the DSP onto the clothes pins, finishing it off with a thin layer of Modge Podge on the top as well.  The center is made with Midnight Muse cardstock which I ran through the Big Shot with the Designer Rosette Die.  The second layer of the center was done with the same die and Comfort Cafe DSP.  On top of that, which is a little hard to see is Crumb Cake Tulle and the Bronze Buttons.  To hang the wreath on my door I took Early Espresso Tulle and tied it up in a pretty bow.  You can find these items in the Holiday Catalog.

Honestly the picture really doesn't do the wreath justice.  It is better in person.

    Cute Little Monkey

    Isn't she cute?

I have to thank Jackie Topa for this cute little monkey.  Thank you Jackie!

I did this card for a Punch Art swap that I was in.  I love to do Punch Art!!  It is probably at the top of my list for cards to do.  For this card I used 2 different stamp sets:  Teeny Tiny Wishes and the background stamp Wood Grain.  I used the Wood Grain stamp on the frame around her.  It is hard to see in the picture.  It is also hard to see, on the Whisper White background, I ran this piece through the Big Shot in the Stripes Impressions Folder.  I finished off the card by wrapping some Early Espresso Twine around and adding the Wish Big tags.

I hope you liked her, as much as I do!

    Cherry On Top

    Masculine Card

Masculine cards are not one of my favorite cards to make.  Not sure why...maybe because they are just harder to come up with.  LOL  But, every once in a while I figure that I better do a couple of them.  Need to send some out to the male family members.  LOL

The saying "Happy Birthday with a Cherry on Top"  is from a Hostess set called "A Cherry on Top".  You can earn this set for just $12.00!  Contact me and I can tell you how to do it.  You will have allot of fun with your family and friends as you are earning this set.  How fun does that sound!  There are also so many more sets you can earn at a low price as well.  What are you waiting for...call me, email me!!  612-799-6127 or jntcrlsn@yahoo.com

For the Chocolate Chip ribbon that you see on the card is the Polka Dot Ribbon just turned around.  How fun is that!!  Just think of the possibilities you can do with all the Stampin' Up! Ribbons.

    Spider Cider

    HOW CUTE IS THIS!!!

I made this a few weeks ago at a Demonstrators Play date.  A few friends of mine got together to just have some stamping and fun time away from everyday life. I have to do this once in awhile.  When we got together each of us planned a fun 3D item for all of us to make.  This cute Cider package was brought to us by Jolene Harms.  She is also a fellow demonstrator.  I believe she cased this project by Heather Summers.  You have seen previously the project that I did.  It was the Halloween picture frame.  I will have another project we did that day, later on in a post.  So come back and check it out!

I love the little spider!  OH and his Googly Eyes.  How can you go wrong with doing a project with him on it.  With this project we used the Big Shot and the Fancy Favor die to make the pouch.  Before putting it together we ran it through the Big Shot with the Spider Web Impressions Folder, just to give it a SPOOKY look.  The great Halloween paper is from the Holiday Catalog, it is called "Howlstooth & Scaringbone" designer series paper.

If you haven't checked out the Holiday Catalog yet....what are you waiting for?!?!?  You have to check it out and see all the NEW products Stampin' Up! has come out with.  You are going to be amazed once again.  Check it out!

    Hello

Look at all the new products on this card!!

Where to begin??  Again another simple but yet a wonderful card I believe.  Framelits....they are a girls best friend!  The Cajun Craze cardstock and the HELLO saying is both cut from Framelits.  But what is even better, now you can stamp and use framelits to cut out your image.
How great is that!!  Can't get any easier than that.

The framelit set that I used on Cajun Craze piece is Apothecary  Accents, which you can find in the Stampin' Up! Catalog.  For the HELLO piece, I stamped it with a new set called "Friendship Preserves" and cut it out with the Window Framelit Collection.  What is even better....Stampin' Up! has come out with bundles to save you money in buying your stamp sets and Framelits.  You guessed it they have one for this set, that you can now find it in the Holiday Catalog.  When using your framelits you will also need your Big Shot

Did you happen to notice the SLIDE with the Seam Binding ribbon through it?  The slides are also NEW and you can find them in the Holiday Catalog as well.  Not sure if you can it see it the well, but in the upper left hand corner I used our NEW Stampin Spritzers.  These can be found in the Stampin' Up! Catalog

If you haven't checked out the Holiday Catalog yet......WHAT are you waiting for?!?!  You can see right HERE!

    Thank you

I have seen this layout on so many cards, I just had to create one.  It is a quick and easy layout!  What more could you ask for. LOL

The background is embossed with the the Polka Dot Impressions folder which was run through the Big Shot.  Also ran through the Big Shot was the tag that you see.  To make the tag I used a Framelit from the Apothecary Accents set.  Then I just sponged the outside and stamped it with "Thanks" from the Kindness Matters stamp set.   I just love the designer series paper that is making the flags.  You can find this designer paper and many more in the Stampin' Up! Catalog or the Holiday Catalog.  It is called "Comfort Cafe", by the way.   I finished off the card with a little bow made out of the Bakers Twine in Early Espresso.

    Thanks A Millon

    Love this layout.

What an easy Layout!  The Basic Black Scallop Circle is cut out of the Big Shot and the Scallop Circle Die. So is the Whisper White Circle in the Middle of the Scallop Circle.  The pretty flower DSP is called " Floral District".  The best thing about Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Paper is that it is 2 sided with different designs on each side and all packages are color coordinating.

For the flower I took a Circle punch and cut the circle so it was in a spring form when done cutting.  Then I rolled it up starting from the outside in.  To keep it all together you just add a Mini Glue Dot to the bottom.  I finished off the flower with a little bit of bling of course, with a "Vintage Faceted Designer Button" and a Basic Rhinestone.  The leaves are punched out using the Blossom Petals Punch.

I almost forgot the most important thing!!!   The "Thanks A Million" that is stamped is from the stamp set called "Word Play".  But...the best part is...you can now buy just this sentiment and not have to buy the whole set!  How great is that.

Stampin' Up! has come out with a promotion that is wonderful.  Have you ever just liked one or two sentiments in a stamp set?  Well they have taken 3 sets and you can order just 1 or 2 or as many sentiments as you would like from these sets.

Just click on your favorite stamp set and you can order!  What are you waiting for it only lasts until January 2, 2013 ?!?!

    BOO

    Cute Little Dude!!!

I know I have said this before....but this set I believe is my 2nd favorite set that I have for Halloween.  The set is called "Googly Ghouls".  You can find this set and many more great sets in the Holiday Catalog.  I posted previous a card similar to this one, I just changed this one up a little.  It is amazing how you just change a few things and the card is still great but has a different look to it.

If you notice the Basic Rhinestones on the BOOOOO, they are just the natural Rhinestones.  But, the other 3 I have colored those with a Black Sharpie Marker before putting those on.  I just wanted to give it another look.  The Designer Series Paper that you see is called "Howlstooth & Scaringbone".   Did you notice the Googly Eye on the little dude?  You can also find these items in the Holiday Catalog.  I am telling you, you have to check out the Holiday Catalog.

    Wedding Announcement

    Love the Vintage Look

I have to thank Heather Klump for this card.  I made a few modification to her card but most of it is cased from her.  Thanks Heather!

I made 20 of these wedding announcements for a lady at work.  She wanted something to send her friends and family with a picture of there wedding to announce they had gotten married on their vacation.   She loved how they turned out and so did everyone that received one!

I love the Tulle ribbon!!  It just makes the whole card come together and give it the vintage look.  I would have never put Whisper White and Very Vanilla together.  But I will now!  With the sponging and the spritzing of the brown just puts it all together as well.  The flowers that you see are made of a punched Scallop Circle and then different size Circle punches. Punch out your desired image and then cut the punched image with your Paper Snips to make it look like a spring. I then took and sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip.   You will then roll it up starting from the outside in. To adhere it together you will place a Mini Glue Dot on the bottom.  I finished the flowers off with either a Basic Pearl or a Antique Brad.

    Thank you for Stopping By!

    Trick or Treat

Is it a treat box or is it a ????

Add Tealights and you have a wonderful Halloween Votive.

Some of you may have seen this in the Stampin Success a few months back.  I was asked by my Upline (Dawn O) to make it for one of our Quarterly Demonstrator meetings.  It was one of the Make -n- Takes that we did at the meeting.  We added of course candy to it instead!!

I did make a few changes to the one in the Stampin Success.  For the Tangerine Tango trim on the top of the box I used the Tastefully Trim Die and ran it though the Big Shot.  If you start with a 1" strip of Cardstock you will be able to line that up to the edge of the die to get a straight cut and then you will have an extra piece to have for another project.  How great is that!!

For the box itself, I made it up to be able to use the Toxic Treat Stamp set on the front of the box.  For the pattern of the box you can find it on my Google Documents.  I didn't use the Fancy Favor Die just because the stamp set was to tight of a fit for stamping.  If you have any other questions just let me know.

    Framing up Halloween

I so bummed when I didn't recruit this past month to get the FREE Printers Tray that Stampin' Up! was offering their demonstrators.  So I had come across this frame and right away thought to myself, I can use this in place of the printers tray to do my own frame.  And this is what I came up with.
    Hope you like it!

I just had a stamping play date with a couple of fellow demonstrators this past weekend.  We were to do a 3D project and bring it with so that we could all make it together.  I will be posting the other projects later this week.  You are going to love them!!

In this frame I inked my Spider Web Impressions Folder with Basic Black and ran it through the Big Shot to get the background effect.  For the label I took a 1" piece (width) of Tangerine Tango and the Blossom Punch.  Then I stamped the "Trick or Treat" and put that in the punch to get the same sides as the Tangerine piece.  The "Trick or Treat" is from the stamp set "Toxic Treats" set.  The spiders are from "Googly Ghouls" set.  And of course you have to add the Googlies eyes.

For this frame I was surfing the web and came across a card that had these 2 ghosts with the pumpkins and thought that would be great.  I do not have the name of the person that I got my inspiration from for this frame.  I am so sorry...but if you come across this let me know and I will make sure I give you credit.
The ghosts are punched out of the Owl Punch and the eyes are embossed with a mixture of  Black and Iridescent Ice embossing powders.  The stars are done with the Uni-ball Signo Gel Pen.

This frame I wanted a little bit more color.  Love the bright colors!  Oh ya and my sister wanted something done with the Witches feet.  LOL  The feet and the saying is from one of my all time favorite sets called "Wicked Cool".  The background I ran through the Big Shot with the Polka Dot Impressions Folder.

The final frame was inspired by the Stampin' Up! printers tray that they had done.  The great Designer series paper is Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP.  You can find this in the Holiday Catalog. The "Spooky" and the web is from the set "Wicked Cool".

I hope you like my version of the printers tray as much as I LOVE IT!

    EEK.....Mummy & Bat!

Isn't this Little Guy is the CUTEST!

    Soot Stamping Technique

LOVE - LOVE the Googly Eyes!!

I just did the technique last month for my Technique Club that I hold once a month.  When my club member's came in and sat down and I started out explaining the technique and I got to the part about putting a flame to cardstock.....you can imagine the looks I got!  LOL  But it all went well and no one burned down my house.  If you would like to find out more about my Technique Club you can find it  HERE.

The Mummy and Bat is from the new stamp set called "Googly Ghouls".  Another Halloween set that I have fallen in Love with.  You have to check out all the new sets  and products that Stampin' Up! have come out with in the Holiday Catalog.  You will not believe it, again Stampin' Up! have outdone themselves!!

Just a little explanation of what the club is.  I teach the member's 2 different techniques and then they take these techniques and make a card or a 3D item with the technique.  Love Sharing what I Love to do!

    Treats "My Pretties"?

Seeing these on other blogs I just had to figure out how they did it and do my own.
Halloween is one of my favorite Holiday's.

Looks hard to make?  Not at all!!

You are going to need a few supplies for making the Witches Hat.
    • Big Shot
    • Petal Cone Die (2 Pcs cut out)
    • Scallop Circle Die
    • 3 1/2" Circle Die
    • Window Framelits
    • Lacy Brocade Impressions Folder
After cutting out 2 Pcs of the Petal Cone Die cut down the flaps to approximately 1/2".  (Round Flaps) You will need this to attach the Scallop Circle to the bottom.  I would advise using Sticky Strip to adhere the hat together.

How fun is this...Secret Trap Door!

Before adhering the Scallop Circle to the bottom of the Petal Cone, take the framelit from the Window set and center that in the middle of the Scallop Circle and cut out.  You will do the same thing with the 3 1/2" circle that you cut out.  Make sure when adhering the circle to the Scallop Circle that you only put adhesive on the outside of only 3 sides.  This is so you can put your trap door in and out.

    SCARY Spider Web

The Spider Web is made for the Crochet Victoria Ribbon.  I cut off a piece of the ribbon, cut slits all the way around it.  Then I pulled it in all directions to give it the Spider Web effect.  I attached this with Mini Glue Dots.

    Satin Ribbon Technique

This is a GREAT technique to use with any of the satin ribbon.  It gives any project a WOW factor.  For this you will need:
    • 1/2" Striped Satin Ribbon
    • 1 1/4" Circle punched out (Basic Black)
    • Sticky Circle (Cut to fit the 1 1/4" Circle)
    • Antique Brad
    • Heat Gun
    • Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP Scallop Circle

You will take your ribbon and cut slits in it, a inch apart.  I started with a 12" PC of ribbon.  You will then take your silted ribbon and start adhering to the sticky 1 1/4" circle starting from the outside going inward.  Once you have it adhered all the way into the middle take your Heat Gun and heat it up.  (If you have a little extra ribbon you can snip it off)  You will start to see the ends curl up.  You keep heating it until you get your desired look that you want.

For the banner I used the banner from the Petal Cone Die.  The stamp set that I used for the "Trick or Treat" is from the "Toxic Treat set".
